Biographies

	Carl A. Anderson, Supreme Knight "All of us in the Americas can claim Our Lady Guadalupe as our mother. More of us in this hemisphere, than anywhere else on earth, can claim a common bond of faith." Carl A. Anderson is Supreme Knight and chief executive of the Knights of Columbus, the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization.

	Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted "All we need to do is to open the door of our heart to Christ. He does the rest. He comes with his mercy. He reconciles us with the Father and with one another. He restores our dignity and gives us fresh hope." Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted, whose patroness is Our Lady of Guadalupe, is responsible for more than 500,000 Catholics in the Diocese of Phoenix. Bishop Olmsted is a champion for the Catholic Legal Immigration Network.

	Bishop William E. Lori, Supreme Chaplain "Through greater devotion to Our Lady and her intercession, may we all grow in our own faith, and seek to bring others closer to God." As Supreme Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop William E. Lori of Bridgeport, Conn., oversees the spiritual welfare of 1.7 million Knights and their families.

	Monsignor Eduardo Chavez Sanchez "Holy Mary of Guadalupe is Christocentric. She is the riverbed that brings the Life Water. She takes us to her son Jesus Christ." Msgr. Eduardo Chávez Sánchez holds a doctorate in Church history and served as postulator for the cause for canonization of St. Juan Diego. He is co-founder and rector of the Institute for Guadalupan Studies and a canon of the Basilica of Guadalupe.

	Immaculée Ilibagiza "I started to say the rosary. The rosary became my savior." Best-selling author Immaculée Ilibagiza is a living example of faith put into action. During the 1994 Rwandan genocide she spent 91 days in a cramped bathroom and credits her survival to praying the rosary.

	Eduardo Verástegui "I made a promise that I would never again do anything that will offend my faith, my family or my culture." Eduardo Verástegui is best known for his lead role in the movie "Bella", which took one of the top honors at the 2006 Toronto Film Festival. He has made a commitment to be involved only in films that have the ability to touch people’s hearts and that elevate the dignity of Latinos.

	Dana "She has sung for popes and written songs at their request." International recording artist Dana is one of Ireland´s most successful entertainers. Her song "We are One Body" was the theme song of the 1993 World Youth Day in Denver, and her albums "The Rosary" and "The Healing Rosaries" are among her more than 30 singles and 30 albums that have become worldwide hits.

	Filippa Giordano Filippa is a renowned performer with broad visibility on an international scale, demonstrated in her collaborative performances with celebrities from the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Germany and many other countries. She has released numerous albums and is an accomplished song writer. She has performed for Pope John Paul II as well as for HRH Prince Charles of England and has received acclaim as a fashion icon and has made many special television appearances.
